Description 

Over 10 weeks, you will explore the opportunities and challenges in entrepreneurship as an alternative career path—from the various potential applications of your technology to create a network in the ecosystem.

Delivered in collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Probe Development & Commercialization (CPDC) and led by McMaster University, the program blends instructor-led webinars, curated readings and practical assignments to build entrepreneurial skills tailored to radiopharma. Sessions cover business modeling, customer discovery, IP and pitching—advanced specifically for radiopharmaceutical contexts.

Ontario Tech Internal Requirements

All applicants must complete the following three internal requirements before starting their L2M online application. 

  1. Invention Disclosure form – As per the Ontario Tech Intellectual Property Policy, L2M applicants (PI) must disclose to the University the intellectual property they wish to commercialize. You can find a copy of the IP disclosure form at the bottom of the page (see here).
  2. Disclose Conflict of Interest (COI) – To comply with our Conflict of Interest in Research Policy, L2M applications (PI) must disclose to the University any COI.  In the event there is a COI, an approved management plan will be formulated to mitigate the COI.
  3. Enrollment into Brilliant Catalyst – To maximize the benefits of the L2M program, ELs will be required to enroll into the Brilliant Catalyst program to access additional support from the incubator.

L2M Program Eligibility 

  1. Open to current graduate students, recent graduates (MSc/PhD) and postdoctoral researchers at Canadian academic institutions.
  2. Applicants should have active research or interest in radiopharmaceuticals.
  3. Quebec applicants must apply via the QcSE program. 

Program Benefits

This Radiopharma stream is the first of its kind within Lab2Market’s Discover series and serves as an entry point into its broader entrepreneurial pathway (Validate → Launch → Build). The program harnesses CPDC’s radiopharmaceutical expertise and McMaster’s commercialization network to support researchers in moving innovations from the lab to the market.
